| This 13,000 square foot structure includes a gallery, classrooms, offices, dance studios, and a performing arts studio. The design includes abundant storage space, and all support spaces are designed to accomodate users with disabilities. Design reiterations addressed poor soil conditions and budget limitations while still maintaining the scope and vision of the original design. The project was designed in 2005, with construction slated to start in the summer of 2006. Ted Gertsch, John Erickson, Christie Roberts, Tom Bryant, and Ron Coates produced the documents for this project. The Ark Creative Arts Center opened its doors to the public in November 2007. |
